Chief of Policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr. Moses Tule, bemoaned the condition of the nation’s economy, saying the present subsidence is brought on by the steady utilization of thoughts by non-experts in financial positions.
“Some came in as specialists into the large scale monetary administration and are giving the instruments of restorative specialists to encourage on the most proficient method to tackle the issue of retreat. Some came in as woodworkers and they are utilizing carpentry devices to inform on the issues with respect to financial retreat; some came in as architects and they are utilizing their apparatuses to encourage on the best way to address monetary subsidence.
“They have not permitted the experts to carry out their occupations. They have not permitted the expert to give the heading.” he griped.
He talked at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, roundtable meeting sorted out on the current monetary subsidence in Abuja on Tuesday.
