Twitter Discontinue Vine Video Sharing Service

Short-form video sharing service planned discontinuation of the service by micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Twitter acquired the service in the year 2012, and launched it in the following year.

It has come to a good reception among social media users.

Vine has told its users in a statement that its website will be available to users despite the impending cancellation of its service.

“We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way,”

“You’ll be able to access and download your Vines. We’ll be keeping the website online because we think it’s important to still be able to watch all the incredible Vines that have been made.”

The Discontinuation of Vine lead to the sack of 9% of Twitter workers earlier today.
